A series of 3 European Virtual Roundtables on Simeox therapy: “Simeox at each stage of the CF patient care”

We are proud and thankful to have been able to gather 8 prestigious clinical teams from 5 different European countries to share their experience on the use of Simeox at each stage of the care of the CF patient.
Because we believe best-practices & clinical experience sharing as well as peer-to-peer interaction are of extreme value to show the place, impact and benefits of the Simeox therapy in the respiratory care management pathway of Cystic Fibrosis patients, we have organized a series of 3 virtual roundtables as followed:

Thursday May 20th (12.45 pm – 2 pm)
Virtual Roundtable 1: Reinforcement of intravenous antibiotic therapy by sessions with SIMEOX during bronchopulmonary treatment. The clinical benefits for the patient.

Following speakers will present clinical cases:

  • Dr Karolina Gwoździewicz & MSc of physiotherapy Katarzyna Warzeszak (Institute of Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases, Rabka Zdrój, POLAND)
  • Dr Philipp Utz, pediatric pulmonologist & Mrs Barbara Räwer, physiotherapist (Cystic Fibrosis Center of the University Hospital in Tübingen, GERMANY)
  • Dr Raj Jayaraj, consultant respiratory paediatrician & Claire Lord, specialist physiotherapist (Teesside Cystic Fibrosis Centre, James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough, UNITED KINGDOM)

 

Tuesday May 25th (12.45 pm – 2 pm)
Virtual Roundtable 2: Mobilization of mucus in the bronchial tree with SIMEOX in patients with cystic fibrosis. The benefits of regular care center visits.

Following speakers will present clinical cases:

  • Dr Hanna Schmidt (Cystic Fibrosis Center University Hospital Ulm, GERMANY)

 

Thursday May 27th (12.45 pm – 2 pm)
Virtual Roundtable 3: Observations of medical teams in patients using SIMEOX in their home rehabilitation. Personalized medicine. The clinical benefits for the patient.

Following speakers will present clinical cases:

  • Dr Justyna Milczewska, pediatrician and pediatric pulmonologist & MSc of physiotherapy Natalia Jeneralska (Cystic Fibrosis Department of the Institute of Mother and Child, POLAND)
  • Dr Jörg Grosse-Onnebrink, pediatric pulmonologist & Christina Krämer, respiratory therapist (DGP) and physiotherapist (Cystic Fibrosis Center, University Hospital of Münster, GERMANY)
  • Dr Boubou Camara, pulmonologist and Dr Rebecca Hamidfar, pulmonologist (Cystic Fibrosis Center (CRCM) of Grenoble, FRANCE)

 

Those 3 roundtables will be moderated by Laurent Morin PhD, Medical Affairs Director at PhysioAssist; and for each of the three roundtables, 3 different clinical teams will present real-life clinical cases, illustrating their own experience with the Simeox therapy in relation with the context of the theme of the roundtable.
