PHYSIOASSIST SIMEOX APP PRIVACY POLICY

PhysioAssist, a company owned by Inogen, Inc., is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the information collection, use, retention and sharing practices of Inogen, Inc. and its affiliates and subsidiaries (“Inogen”, “PhysioAssist”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) when you interact with us through the Simeox Mobile Application (the “Simeox App”). This Privacy Policy applies only to the Simeox App and does not apply to any PhysioAssist or Inogen websites, devices, or other products or services, which are governed by their own privacy notices.
What data do we collect?
The Simeox App processes limited, device related information only, specifically:
• Simeox device serial number (entered manually by you as the user)
• Filter ID
• Remaining session number associated with the expiratory kit, as stored on the filter’s RFID tag
How do we collect your data?
You directly provide us with most of the data collected through the Simeox App. We collect data and process data when you:
• Voluntarily enter your device serial number
• Scan the RFID tag on your device filter, allowing you to track the remaining session numbers
How will we use your data?
The information processed by the Simeox App is used solely for local, user facing functionality, including:
• Displaying how many sessions remain on an expiratory kit
• Allowing users to monitor usage of their Simeox filters
• Distinguishing between multiple filters when more than one filter is scanned
The data enables the Simeox App to function as a monitoring and informational tool only.
How do we store or share your data?
All information processed by the Simeox App is stored locally on your mobile device. No data is transmitted, uploaded, synced, or otherwise sent to PhysioAssist, Inogen, or any third party. We do not have access to, visibility into, or control over the information stored within the Simeox App.
Cookies, tracking, and analytics
The Simeox App:
• Does not use cookies
• Does not use analytics, telemetry, tracking technologies, or advertising identifiers
• Does not monitor user behavior or usage patterns
What are your data protection rights?
You have the following rights with respect to your personal information:
• The right to access
• The right to correct
• The right to delete
Note: We do not sell or share personal information, and no data is collected centrally through the Simeox App. Because we do not collect or store data through the Simeox App, these rights are generally exercised by managing or deleting the Simeox App on your device.
Legal basis for processing
The limited information processed by the Simeox App is handled solely on your device and is not transmitted to us. Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, processing is based on the performance of the Simeox App’s functionality and the user’s legitimate interest in monitoring device usage.
Children’s privacy
The Simeox App is not intended for, or targeted to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from any children under the age of eighteen (18) without adult supervision.
Changes to this privacy policy
We may amend this Privacy Statement in our sole discretion at any time. If we do, we will post the changes, and will indicate the date the changes go into effect. We encourage you to review our Privacy Statement to stay informed. If we make changes that materially affect your privacy rights, we will notify you by prominent posting on the website and/or via email, and obtain your consent, if required.
